Similar to last week the forecast for Saturday is to be overcast with periods of light to moderate rain.  Sunday will be drier and brighter with maybe the odd shower  Winds are increasing on Saturday up to F6 from the south west.  The winds on Sunday will be F5 from the west.

Penarth Yacht Club - Raise the lift appeal
PYC are holding a 24hr event from midday on Sat 17th Feb through to midday on Sunday 18th Feb in order to raise funds towards installing a lift at the club.  There will be a 24hr "Rowathon", stalls in the club, a live band on Saturday night, a casino and a late bar.  The Galley will be open Saturday 12-5pm and then again for breakfast on Sunday from 9-12 and for Sunday lunch from 12.30 - 3pm.  There should be a good buzz about the club all next weekend.  All berth holders are very welcome to pop down and join in.  If you are feeling fit feel free to bring your indoor rowing kit!

Volvo Ocean Race _ Cardiff Stopover - Volunteers Wanted
Cardiff Harbour Authority are looking for experienced sailors/boat owners who would be willing to volunteer their time, skills and vessels to support the event when it comes to Cardiff in May/June this year.  A mix of craft will be required.  Register your interest at
