Unfortunately it looks unsettled this weekend.  Saturday is forecast to be mainly dry, but with a possible thunderstorm in the morning.  Maybe some sun later on Saturday afternoon.  Sunday is likely to be wet with an occasional sunny spell later on.  Winds are forecast to be westerly F4 on Saturday increasing F5-6 on Sunday.  Keep an eye on your favourite weather website for updates!

Hurricane Irma
Although we aren't having the weather we hoped for this month spare a thought for all those in the Caribbean.  These boat owners in the British Virgin Islands have had a battering.

Penarth Marina 30th Birthday Party - Only 14 tickets remaining
Penarth Marina was officially opened on the 25th September 1987. To celebrate thirty years of marina operation we are holding a black-tie dinner in Pier 64. The party is on Saturday 7th October and will be a ticketed event. The evening will consist of arrival drinks at 7pm followed by a three-course dinner with wine and entertainment. Tickets are now on sale at £30 each and are selling fast. If you wish to attend please contact the marina office and we will send you a menu and booking form. Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis. We look forward to hearing from you and celebrating together soon.

British National Water Ski Race – Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September 2017

On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September 2017, the British National Water Ski Race will be taking place in Cardiff Bay. Vessels are requested to keep clear of the race area in the main body of the Bay between the following times: Saturday 9th September 1200–1700hrs Sunday 10th September 1200-1700hrs The race area will be marshalled by Harbour Authority and Race Control vessels. Access to and from the Harbour Authority Pay and Display pontoons at Roald Dahl Plass and the graving dock will be restricted between 1200 – 1700hrs on both days. Public vessels on the pontoons during these times must remain there until the access has re-opened. Mariners are requested to keep clear of the exclusion zone and to navigate at slow speed in its vicinity to keep wash to a minimum.
