eQuay 8th September 2017
Sunshine and blustery showers are ahead of us. The best of the sunshine will be in the afternoon but showers are likely to come and go even then with some of the showers being heavy or thundery.
Showers will continue into the evening and overnight, including some heavy ones. It will be a breezy night, particularly on the coast and over the hills.
Showers or longer periods of rain are expected tomorrow, and once again, some will be heavy and thundery. Sunny spells are likely too, especially in the afternoon,
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Sunday and Monday will be wet and very windy, with frequent showers or longer spells of rain. Winds are likely to ease for a time on Tuesday with fewer showers.
QUAY MARINAS LTD SECURES JEANNEAU DEALERSHIP AT CONWY QUAYS MARINA
Quay Marinas Ltd is delighted to announce that it has secured the Jeanneau sail and power dealership for North Wales following its successful purchase of Network Yacht Brokers boat sales business at Conwy Quays Marina in July.
Conwy Quays Marina and Network Yacht Brokers have long had a successful association with Jeanneau going back over 20 years and Quay Marinas Ltd was committed in looking to secure and continue the long-term association with Jeanneau Yachts and the North Wales and North West marine market.
Jeanneau Sail and Power is an internationally renowned boat producer formed in 1957 with factories across the world producing over 3000 boats every year from 15 to 75 feet and with a solid sales network of 350 distributors it is a brand people trust.
Quay Marinas Managing Director, Simon Haigh said:
‘’ We are delighted to secure the Jeanneau dealership for the North Wales region and believe that being able to offer such an established and respected range of new boats, both sail and power will add significantly to our boat sales operation at Conwy Quays Marina. We believe that access to the extensive Jeanneau range, including smaller 'entry level' boats will encourage new people into boating and once they have experienced Conwy Quays Marina and the North Wales coast they will be hooked on this great family pastime for many years to come . "
On the Rocks - THIS WEEKEND
Please observe the DEAD SLOW speed limit and do not create excessive wash within the confines of the marina.
There has recently been a number of reported incidents to the marina office and we are keen to keep our very proud record of a safe and conscientious marina for all users.
Unfortunately dogs are not capable of cleaning up after themselves and are therefore reliant on their owners. But as the photograph shows some owners are clearly not capable of cleaning after their dogs either despite Quay marinas placing dog poop bags in every SOS tower!
This season there has been a significant increase in owners failing to clear up after their dogs and simply allowing them to roam around the marina off a lead.
in order to address this real nuisance I would urge berth holders to name and shame any owners who allow their dogs to roam freely around the marina fouling the marina pontoons so that we can take the necessary action in eradicating this socially unacceptable behaviour.
Network Yacht Brokers Conwy Boat of The Month - Fairline Targa 50 Gran Turismo
2012 Fairline Targa 50 Gran Turismo, 85 hours on the engine and just one owner from new, benefits from a full Mediterranean specification which includes a generator upgrade, tender launch system and an electrical retractable roof, to name but a few. She is a beautiful boat and a real eye catcher at Conwy Marina.
During the design stages, Fairline’s brief was to maximise room sizes and head clearance, even if it meant going back to the drawing board. Which they did, many times, until they were happy that they had created rooms with a spacious ‘luxury apartment’ feel. Of course, this is a true GRAN TURISMO and the smooth-sliding roof, sweeping panoramic windows and rear glazing that simply glides up and out of the way, opens the whole boat to the world around you.
To arrange a viewing please contact Phil Jones or Mark Jelley at Network Yacht Brokers on 01492 580001
